ROCK-PAPER-SHADOWS - SUBSTACK

I'm excited to announce that I've shifted all my spooky shenanigans from a monthly newsetter over to Substack, where I'll have more creative freedom. Think of it as upgrading from a B-movie budget to a full-blown production. I'll be mixing fiction with nonfiction, weaving together the threads of rock history with horror tales, and diving deeper into the weird and wonderful worlds that fascinate us all.

The best part is that there's a free tier, so you won't have to sell your soul to keep getting your regular dose of darkness. And every new subscriber helps boost my visibility on Substack, which means more chances to spread our love of horror and rock & roll to unsuspecting victims... er, I mean, potential readers.

So what do you say? Will you join me on this new adventure?

Welcome to the "Rock & Roll Nightmares" Substack - where power chords meet paranormal, and headbanging meets horror! Born from the twisted mind of Staci Layne Wilson (and her bestselling book series and podcast), this is your backstage pass to music's darkest corners and cinema's spookiest (and sometimes sexiest) shadows.

Ever wonder what happens when rock stars dabble in the occult? Curious about those bone-chilling urban legends that haunt music history? Or maybe you're just here for the unholy matrimony of scintillating cinema, horror flicks, and heavy riffs?

Think of this Substack as your favorite midnight radio show – if that radio was possessed by the ghosts of punk rock past and horror movie history. When I'm not leading you through music's macabre underbelly, I might just drag you into whatever fascinating oddity has captured my attention this week. I have several eerie, odd, and weird articles planned – plus serialized novels for subscribers only (not sold in stores).

Subscribe if you dare – where every post is guaranteed to be stranger than fiction and twice as entertaining. Warning: Side effects may include sudden urges to watch B-horror movies while blasting Black Sabbath at midnight.
